Red Heart Puff Sleeve Knitted Top and Jeans

I’m usually quite considered when I buy clothes, but this red heart knitted top was a “shoot from the hip” kind of purchase. Short story short, I fell in love with it so bought it. Other than jeans, I don’t know what else I’ll wear it with, (suggestions most welcome). I wore it earlier this week for an informal early Mother’s Day celebration at home, with my parents and it brought me such joy that I don’t mind if I never find another bottom with which to team it.

It’s made from 100% cotton and is quite a heavy knit. It comes in three other designs, including two Fair-Isle colourways and a cute blue stripe featuring a lobster, (hard to imagine I know, so I’ve linked it *here). The red heart is low in stock, so go, go, go  if you’d like one too.

From the hearts on my sleeves to my gorgeous red patent leather sandals, this outfit is top-to-toe Boden. And, even though the sandals are at least two years old, the shade of red is perfect-often the case when buying from the same company. I remembered when writing this post that I have a red patent leather satchel, also from Boden. I’ve had it for around 12 years and really don’t use it often enough, so I shall add it to this ensemble next time.

Ian and I are going away tomorrow for a much-anticipated long weekend. I’m looking forward to a bit of sunshine and some different cultural experiences. I have new dresses…
