Over the years, I have amassed quite a collection of Lotus shoes. (Here are just some of my blog posts that feature Lotus shoes). These white leather flatform sandals, (called Cairnes), are my latest acquisition, a kind gift from the brand. As you can see, they are made from multi-coloured leather and have a low platform which gives both height and stability.
Lotus is among my favourite shoe brands not least because of their guaranteed comfort. As well as that, they fit well and are beautifully made. They are sold at an excellent price point and I have to say that I have seen styles that are very similar to this one, that cost three or four times as much. These are £65 by the way, which, for gorgeous leather footwear that will last for years- is a bargain. I love them.
Ian and I spent a few days up in Tynemouth. I wore these with a voluminous midi dress and then again with these wide-legged cropped jeans, (>2 years old), and my favourite lace top, (>5 years old). The weather was cooler than it had been during the previous few weeks. If it had been warmer, I’d have teamed these white leather flatforms with a pair of white broderie Anglaise shorts. But I think you’ll be able to imagine for yourselves just how many looks they will work with. And for those who might like a slightly brighter option, they also come in tan with blue and red accents.
