For the first time in several years, we went out on New Years Eve. Ian, Poppy, Harry and Poppy’s boyfriend went to our favourite Skipton restaurant, Le Caveau. I nearly always wear dresses for special occasions, but I fancied a change so went for a green sequin top, black velvet trousers and my beloved green glitter platform sandals. Once again, I based my outfit around the shoes so the green sequin top was an obvious choice. (*It is reduced and there are still some sizes left). My black velvet 7/8 trousers are from several years ago. I tend to wear them once or twice over the festive period. My *black velvet bag with sparkly bow detail and the earrings are both from Boden- (I bought them just before Christmas in the sale). The bag is currently half-price and there are some left at the time of writing. The earrings have sold out. My bracelet and charms are from *Pandora.

Le Caveau
As always, the food was outstanding at (the award winning) Le Caveau. I say this every time I mention it, but if you are in the Skipton area, I cannot recommend it enough. (Here are previous blog posts which feature Le Caveau).

After dinner, Harry went on to meet friends. Ian, Poppy, Ollie and I went for a few drinks and then home to play games. It was one of the best New Year’s Eves I have ever had.
I wish you a very happy, joyful and healthy 2023.
