Bags Made from Recycled Plastic Bottles
In this age of conscious consumerism there are a lot of new sustainable brands. One example is *Kind Bag which creates stylish accessories and bags from recycled plastic bottles. Their range includes backpacks, pouches and scarf bags and with prices starting at £10, they are ideal stocking fillers or Secret Santa gifts.
Kind Bags offered to send me some products to try. I chose a fold-up shopping bag in Haeckel’s Orchidae print, a scarf bag in William Morris’s Strawberry Thief, and a very useful set of three pouches.
This shopping bag folds away small enough to fit in the back pocket of a pair of jeans. The handles and nice and wide so it doesn’t dig into the shoulders and it’s really rather capacious.
I adore the orchid print by artist Haeckel.
I’m obsessed with all things Victorian right now, although I have always adored William Morris’s designs. I chose a scarf bag in his Strawberry Thief design. It comes as a large square scarf with two separate round handles.
The trio of marble pouches is very useful for travel and for general organisation. They expand so can stand up- always useful for keeping toiletries upright. They come in a choice of designs – I like the vibrant marble print.

As well as shopping bags, Kind Bags have backpacks, laptop sleeves and tote bags. A lot of their designs are based on famous artworks; there is something to suit every taste.
