A rather nice branch of Crew Clothing opened recently here in Skipton. I’d popped in a few times during my lunch hour and made a mental note to go in when time is less of a premium, to get some new pieces for autumn. If you’re not familiar with Crew, the aesthetic is similar to Joules- think good quality casual and smart-casual pieces that are simultaneously contemporary and timeless.
By a rather happy co-incidence, the PR team for Crew Clothing contacted me to see if I’d like to select a few pieces from their latest collection. I opted for their Apple Cord Dress, Brompton Trousers and Silvie Jumper.
Apple Cord Dress
At the time of writing, there is *30% off the Apple Cord dress.
The Apple Cord dress is available in navy and in rose pink. It has buttons all the way down and a self-fabric tie belt. It is a midi length and for reference, I’m 5 ft 9 inches, (175cm) tall. I’m wearing my usual size. The fabric is beautifully soft with a little stretch for even more comfort. It is very good quality and it washes well. Here, I’m wearing it with my Boden knee-high boots from a few years ago.
The model below has layered a contrasting top underneath which I think looks super. The belt could be swapped for a contrasting one, so there are several ways to switch up the look. I would love to see this in a maxi length too – I’d buy it in several colours.
Silvie Jumper
I aways struggle to find jumpers because I don’t like to wear wool- it makes me itch and feel most irritable. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise to discover that the Silvie jumper is wool-free. Even better, it has 2% metallised fibres so it has a bit of sparkle.

I love the dipped hem at the back- it’s very flattering. It probably goes without saying that it’s super cosy and warm. This is the perfect jumper to wear with jeans and ankle boots on a crisp autumn day for a walk to a pub.

The Sylvie jumper also comes in a navy stripe.
Brompton Twill Trousers
I chose this gorgeous shade of rose pink but these Crew Clothing Brompton trousers come in dark khaki and conker brown too. I like them with this white blouse and loafers for a smarter casual look. A sweatshirt and trainers would make a perfect off-duty look. They fit very well courtesy of a bit of stretch and again, are true to size.

White Chelsea Boots
My white Chelsea boots are from Hush Puppies (gift). They feature the brand’s WorryFree™ Water Resistant leather, an easy-care material which helps to keep footwear looking new and feet feeling dry. They have removable Bounce™ footbed with memory foam, so they’re incredibly comfortable. These are going to be a wardrobe staple for the forseeable.
Multi-Tasking Make-Up
I’ve been wearing *Code Beautiful’s HTG (Hydrate, Tint, Glow) (gift) for a while now. It is a multi-tasking product for lips and cheeks. It comes in three different shades- I’m wearing African Ruby, a natural peachy-pink. It’s a gorgeous product, full of antioxidants and moisturisers. Cream blush gives a fresher, more luminous finish than powder and makes for a more youthful finish.

I’m a fan of Code Beautiful mascara too. In my opinion, it’s the best lengthening mascara I have ever used. (Read my review of Code Beauty VLM Volumising, Lengthening Mascara here).
Have a lovely weekend.

You chose some beautiful items, Lizzy. I particularly like the dress on you. On me, it would probably almost me maxi lol!
You can’t go wrong with a striped jumper either. Perfect!

Oh thank you Suzy. I know you’re much more petite than I am so yes, the dress would look a lot longer on you! I love the jumper. It’s already on itd third wear and it only arrived last week! xxx
