I bought this Boden pink and yellow print scoop neck maxi dress to put away until our holiday to Spain in October. The weather has been so glorious though that it seemed a shame not to wear it. It is the type of dress that you can throw on over a bikini or dress up with wedge sandals, jewellery and a clutch for a night out. I was somewhere in between- dressed for an al-fresco lunch at Valerie’s in Whitley Bay with Ian and two of his children.
This Boden pink and yellow print scoop neck maxi dress in two other prints and in three fits: petite, regular and long. I’m 5 ft 9 (175cm) and am wearing a UK size 12 long. It fits true to size. I’m stalking the Boden website to see if the lemon vine print comes back into stock in the 12L. This is something I do regularly with Boden and most times, my patience is rewarded. It’s always worth checking to see if your chosen item has been returned.
Totes Solbounce Double Strap Slider
It’s a half-hour walk from our house in Cullercoats to Whitley Bay, so comfy shoes are an absolute must. These hot pink double strap sliders are perfect (gifted). They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight and stylish and are equally perfect for both beach and brunch. At just £16, they are at an excellent price point too. They come in four colour ways and fit true to size.
Busy times ahead
Ian and I both have a very busy few months ahead. I may not be able to blog as often as I’d like but I’ll keep you updated when I can. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the week and stay safe.Disclosure: Like most blogs, this post may contain affiliate links (from which I might make a small commission if you make a purchase).
