It’s party season proper so here are two Christmas party outfits that I wore last weekend. The first, I wore for a dinner party we hosted for some dear friends, the second I wore for my work Christmas party. I’ve linked each piece in the notes section at the foot of the post.
Black jewelled collar top and faux leather culottes
I absolutely love these faux leather culottes. They are so versatile and very comfortable. I’ve only had them for a few weeks and have already worn them on several occasions. Here, I dressed them up by adding a jewel collar top and a pair of super-sparkly black and diamante party shoes.
Red velvet trouser suit and sequinned top
I think this is the ultimate Christmas party outfit. I mean, what could be more festive than a red velvet trouser suit and a sequinned top? This is from two years ago and it still looks and feels brand new, not least because there was no need for Christmas party outfits last year. I always enjoy wearing red, especially this shade of red- it’s so uplifting and vibrant. I feel full of energy when I wear it which is useful because it was almost 5am when I stopped partying.
