Meet Lucele: My Jimmy Choo nude lace wedding shoes.
I don’t buy many designer pieces, but naturally I wanted some very special shoes to wear on our wedding day. However. I didn’t want them to look like typical bridal shoes; I wanted something that I can wear again and again. Another requirement was some degree of foot coverage. I have nothing against my feet, but with the best will in the world, they aren’t particularly photogenic, particularly after standing on them for hours.
I chose my wedding gown because of the exquisite nude and ivory lace, so when I saw these Jimmy Choo nude lace heels, I knew immediately that they were a match made in heaven. A perfect marriage so to speak.
The 100mm heel is the same as that on my Jimmy Choo Tahitis, so I knew I’d be fine from a heel-height-comfort point of view, for several hours at least. The leather is beautifully soft and supple and the insoles are slightly padded. And there’s a little bit of subtle sparkle courtesy of the tiny diamantes. My wedding dress was matte, so I didn’t want anything too glitzy.
I’ll treasure these shoes forever. I’ll wear them with dresses, trousers and jeans and each and every time, I’ll remember our perfect wedding day.

They’re absolutely stunning, Lizzy! I don’t know you managed to wear them for hours though. I’d never manage that. When we renew our vows (we’ve been talking about it for about five years now lol), I’ll probably wear flats!!
