I posted most of my outfits on Instagram throughout our honeymoon but I thought it would be nice to put them all in one place. I’d been curating my honeymoon outfits for Crete for some months and I invested in quite a few new pieces. I mean, if you can’t treat yourself for your honeymoon when can you? With that being said though, I know that every dress, every pair of shoes and every bag are timeless additions that I’ll wear year after year.
I took an equal number of day and evening honeymoon outfits. My day outfits consisted of kaftans and cover-ups for the beach and dresses to wear to breakfast and lunch. My evening outfits were, (of course), all dresses. A lot of my dresses crease very readily, so I wrapped them in tissue paper, (lots of tissue paper), when I packed them and it worked a treat. It was a time-consuming exercise, but infinitely more preferable to ironing everything on arrival. I’ll do the same every time I go on holiday.
The rest of this post is mainly given over to photographs. We didn’t quite manage to photograph everything, especially the daytime outfits, but we captured all of my evening outfits. Details and links, (if the item is currently available), to all of my honeymoon outfits and accessories are below each outfit. As always, gifted items are marked as such and affiliate links identified with an *.

Evening honeymoon outfits for Crete
Antik Batik ruffled broderie dress
I adore broderie anglaise and a scalloped edge. This gorgeous dress has both and it made a change to wear a dress that sits above the knee.

Mauritius earrings: Celeste Starre.
Esta kitten heel sandals in lemonade multi: Kat Maconie.

Miguelina crochet dress
I bought this because it reminds me of my wedding dress. I absolutely adore the crochet detail. It might be my new favourite dress.

Lotta nude crochet dress: Miguelina.
Echo ring: Danon Jewellery.
Gold bracelet: 21st birthday gift from my parents.
Sandee leather thong sandal in sand: Cult Gaia.
Alba Shoulder bag: Cult Gaia.
Self Portrait mint dress
Another perennial favourite of mine. I love the neckline on this mint green Self-Portrait dress. I wore it with my wedding shoes. (See more details and close-ups of these Choos here).

Mint green sleeveless floral broderie crepe dress: Self-Portrait (2019).
Echo ring: Danon Jewellery.
Alba Shoulder bag: Cult Gaia.
Lucele ballet pink nappa lace sandals: Jimmy Choo (now half price on Jimmy Choo website)
Zimmerman polka dot dress
Having just said the Miguelina crochet dress is my new favourite, this is a real contender too. The cotton is absolutely beautiful and the gentle colours are so pretty. Zimmerman is an Australian designer with the most divine resort wear and dresses. Their designs are investment pieces but they are worth every penny. I got mine at a 45% discount from The Outnet, (linked below) but even then it took me a while to be able to justify the price. I love it though and I know that it too will become a perennial summer piece.

*Bellitude polka dot midi dress: Zimmermann via The Outnet.
Astrae earrings: Danon Jewellery
Echo ring: Danon Jewellery.
Gold bracelet: my 21st birthday gift from my parents.
Cara freshwater pearl necklace: Kiri and Belle.
Alba Shoulder bag: Cult Gaia.
Alia mule in sand leather: Cult Gaia via Farfetch.
Orange printed maxi
In complete contrast to the Zimmerman above, this was an impulse buy from TKMaxx. It was about £25 and I wore it for both breakfast and dinner. It has a feel to it that belies its inexpensive price point. I’m so pleased with it.

Orange maxi dress: TKMaxx.
Echo ring: Danon Jewellery.
Chunky bracelet: Anthrolologie.
Earrings and friendship bracelet: Bizoudaki Handmade Creations, Margarites, Crete.
Coral clutch bag: Aspiga (gift a few years ago).
Ramona flat sandal: Sophia Webster.

I love the coral/red tkmaxx one – they all look lovely but the zimmerman cost is out of my price range! 🥱
The TKMaxx one is such a gem and it was such a good price point too. The Zimmerman was a big decision for me and a big investment. I’m going to make sure I wear it over and over xxx
