I’m starting with some very sad news. I mentioned in my previous post that Ian’s mum was diagnosed with a terminal illness just before Christmas. She passed away a few days ago. She was a lovely, kind, dignified woman and was the best mother-in-law I never had. We are going ahead with our wedding as planned and I’m pleased that I showed her some photographs of me trying my wedding dress on. The bridesmaids did the same. We involved her as much as we could in our plans and we know she was very, very happy for the two of us.
At the time of writing, we are still optimistic that all restrictions will have been lifted by August. We’re hoping too that Greece will become a “green” country and that we’ll get our much longed-for, (and needed), honeymoon in Crete. I’ve been optimistic throughout the last few months and have been curating a honeymoon wardrobe. This beautiful Fantasie bikini and the khaki broderie anglaise dress are two recent additions.
I wear a lot of Fantasie lingerie. It’s beautifully made and fits like a dream. their swimwear is the same. Here I’m wearing the Fantasie Tobago bandeau, (which has detachable straps), with the tie side brief. I adore the print. It’s strong but not too shouty if you know what I mean.

The khaki broderie dress is from the Leeds-based family run Style Attic. The colour works beautifully with my bikini, but I khaki is a good neutral which works with a lot of different colours. For example, the bright coral clutch looks stunning here.

The dress is unlined, so I’d wear nude underwear or a nude slip if I didn’t have a bikini on underneath.

I kept my sandals and sunnies neutral and piled on the stackable bracelets- my favourite type of summer jewellery.
