Kat Maconie has been on my shoe radar for quite some time. I’m drawn to her statement, vibrant, slightly quirky designs. However it wasn’t her signature colour-blocking I was after, (on this occasion at least), rather something neutral that I can wear throughout spring and summer. In particular though, I wanted something to wear in the evening of my wedding, should my feet tire of the vertiginous heels I’m going to wear on the day. (I’ll share those after our wedding because they’re awesome). So whatever I chose needed to be as comfortable as they are beautiful.
The Dia by Kat Maconie comes in two colourways. These are the most divine delicate pearly shade of oyster pink. The crossover straps are made from butter-soft leather, while the ruffle detail is composed of satin.
I love the square toe and the gold detailing on the chunky kitten heel.
They are supremely comfortable. I’ve test-driven them by dancing around the kitchen and I’m pleased to report that they stay in place, unlike some designs of mules which flip off. They are an absolute joy to behold and a joy to wear.
I’m thrilled with them and really rather tempted to get them in the raspberry-multi colourway.
Notes
Disclosure: This isn’t a sponsored post. I bought the shoes myself.
