This divine ivory floral lace dress is one of my monthly picks from Coast. I do appreciate that with the best will in the world, it isn’t really suitable to wear in winter, no matter how aesthetically pleasing it looks against the snow. It will however be perfect for our not-yet-booked honeymoon in August. (I’m optimistic that we’ll be able to travel again by then). And it might be a good choice to wear for my hen party/parties too. It’s rare that I get things with the intention of putting them away for a later date, but this is an exception-I was worried it would sell out if I waited. It comes in a black version too which I also adore and which I wore over Christmas (and in this blog post).
Note the fabulous mismatched earrings.
However, unlike the ivory floral lace dress, the vegan ivory ankle boots with the contrasting heel are wearable through at least three of our four seasons. They add a welcome touch of spring to a winter outfit and look striking against a dark outfit. they blend beautifully with shades of nude, blush and other soft pastels.
A little higher than ankle boots, but not as high as mid-calf, they are fashion forward style, and, may I suggest, pay homage to these beautiful leather ivory boots by,Gabriela Hearst. (The Coast ivory boots are on the left, the Gabriela Hearst on the right).
