Obviously a very different thing to my birthday suit. This is my birthday outfit and what I wore for dinner last weekend with Ian at Le Caveau.
Up to 70% Off at Coast
It’s from Coast, which for years, has been my go-to place for occasionwear. I have quite a few of their pieces which pre-date my children in fact. More recently, about three years ago, I got my pink and green high-low printed skirt from there and last month I ordered two dresses from the sale, for my honeymoon wardrobe, one of which is the dress below, a spot mesh ruffle midi, (also available in black spot).
At the time of writing, there is up to up to 70% off across the whole site, so it’s well worth a look.
You can imagine therefore, how delighted I was when the Coast team contacted me to ask if I’d like to collaborate. It isn’t a paid partnership, instead, a reciprocal arrangement in which they gift some outfits in return for some coverage on my social media. I’ve written this blog post as an extra and because I want to show this dress, off.
So this birthday outfit was gifted. I’m a hopeless romantic and love lace, ruffles and long dresses, so this ticks all the boxes. I love the delicate shade of blush and the fact that it is machine washable. This will have a place in my honeymoon wardrobe too. It comes in blue too and is reduced to less than half-price at £92 from £209, so it’s a steal. On a balmy summer evening, it would need little more than a pair of beaded sandals and a clutch. For a chilly-ish autumn evening, I teamed it with a blush faux fur bag, (reduced to £15 from £30) and a set of pearl and diamante ear cuffs, (half-price at £5).
This isn’t a paid partnership but my birthday outfit is a gift from Coast. This incurs no extra cost to you and I’m always very grateful when people support me in this way.
