Happy Wednesday! The sun’s out again- another beautiful spring day. I’ve been prepping the living room ready for painting, which I might start this evening. I’ve decided on the colour I want to use on the walls- Skimming Stone by Farrow and Ball. They describe it in the book “Farrow and Ball, How To Decorate“ as “a contemporary neutral with an underlying lilac tone, which brings an edge to decorating schemes while imparting certain warmth. This undertone prevents these colours from appearing sombre or severe.” I chose it because it complemented the wallpaper and because I liked it. The living room isn’t huge by any standards; anything but. But it still feels like quite a big task. I’m looking forward to it though and excited to see the end result.
I attended a work webinar this afternoon. It was called “Dare To Be Brilliant” by Andy Clarke. It was brilliant; about how to succeed when we get back to work in practice. It was full of motivation and positivity- just what we need to be able to hit the ground running and give our patients what they need, whenever that may be.
The top I’m wearing today is from a little shop in Nerja. My mum treated me to it when we were there three years ago. It reminds me both of her and of Nerja, one of my favourite places on the planet. We won’t be going there this year as planned, but we will go again someday.
My sunglasses are the Shula by friends, (Italian family business) Feb31st. I always enjoy wearing them, not least because they remind me of a wonderful evening out, (with a stunning backdrop), in Calpe last summer. They’re lightweight and comfortable and like all Feb31st eyewear, sustainable and truly bespoke.
