Happy Sunday! We’re almost two weeks in and there’s no imminent sign of lockdown coming to an end. Boris and his team are going to review things after three weeks, so we may have a better idea in just over a week. It’s been quite a nice day. Not as warm as the forecast led us to believe, but it’s dry and bright. Ian and I had a much longer walk today. A more circuitous route that took almost two hours. We crossed Skipton Bypass which is usually the busiest, (and fastest) road into and out of town. It was absolutely deserted today, save for a marked police car in a layby. The lack of traffic, people and noise still seems strange.
I wore the same leggings as yesterday with a different pink top and walking boots that I’ve had for 21 years.
My blush pink crossbody bag is new though. It has a zipped main compartment, internal and external zipped pockets, and side pouches that are perfect for carrying a water bottle. It’s perfect for this type of outing and would be excellent for travel- I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll get to take it on a plane at least once this year.
Stay safe and have a lovely Sunday evening.
