Happy Wednesday. Day 23 of Coronavirus lockdown and what a beautiful day it is. I’m so grateful for my small garden and for our proximity to Skipton Woods and the local park. Getting our daily exercise while maintaining social distance is easy. I can’t imagine what it must be like for those that don’t have any (clear) outdoor space close by.
It’s been another productive day. I did the ironing this morning and then some admin. I also photographed and wrote my next article for Stepper, the German family eyewear company with whom I’ve been working for over two years. Every two months, we choose a theme and I write a piece about it. This time it’s about sunglasses- (they have a gorgeous new range)-because even though so many of us will have our holidays cancelled, a lot of us are taking our daily exercise outdoors. It’s important to protect the eyes from UV damage even on a dull day, so the theme of sunglasses is a relevant one. I’m wearing my fabulous rose-tinted sunglasses in the photos below but I’ll share more images once the article is live on the Stepper blog.
The last few posts have been about my mini paint projects so I haven’t shared any daily outfits for a while; my painting attire is not something I’d leave the house in. Today’s outfit is a little more respectable. The broderie anglaise blouse is one of my all-time favourite summer tops. This is its third year and I love it as much as when it was new. It’s so feminine and slightly boho- a look I adore, especially in the summer months. Ian and I took our daily walk through the park today. The beauty of blue sky and sunshine is that it makes everything look and feel so much better. (And I promise that I wouldn’t dream of stopping to take photographs if it breached social distancing in any way, but as you can see, it was deserted).

Stay safe x

Love your top Liz, it’s so pretty. We enjoyed a family break last year near Skipton….a beautiful part of the world as you can see by your photos…such a pretty place for a walk in the lovely sunshine we are having.
Talking of sunshine I live in my sunglasses and wear them all year round….I actually wear them more than my normal glasses!
