This Closet London black geometric-patterned puff-sleeve dress is described on the website as a “best-selling” fit and it’s easy to see why. It is fact the third dress I have from there in this very flattering shape. It’s has gorgeous voluminous sleeves, a shaped-waistband that draws the eye to the narrowest part of the body and a fluid skirt which falls to the perfect midi length. This particular dress has pockets too.
It’s a very versatile dress. Here, I’ve styled it with heels and clutch which elevates it to occasionwear. A velvet blazer would dress it up for a wedding, whereas a denim or biker jacket with boots or trainers will dress it down for anything and everything else. Like most of Closet’s clothes, it is made in London.
The Perfect Pair
What is the perfect eyewear to compliment this patterned puff-sleeve dress? Because I have styled it for occasionwear, an elegant frame is best-suited to compliment the look. If I’d dressed it down, I’d have chose a different frame. I’ll style it casually in future and do just that. This beautiful black frame with gold detail is the Koali 20026 by French brand Morel, a fourth-generation family business. It is very lightweight and very stylish.
