If you saw the post about my trip to Boundary Mill, you’ll recognise this dress. It was the only one of its kind, an absolute bargain and a perfect fit. My inner magpie couldn’t believe its luck. I’m going to wear it on Christmas Day and for the AOP awards in January. I’ll wear it again and again, so because of that, the cost per wear will be minimal. In my previous post, I shared an understated party look: an LBD with a LBF, (little black frame). This party look is a celebration in itself. Sequins, beads, ruffles and a bow. To me, this embellished maxi dress is the epitome of a feel-good dress; I couldn’t love it more.

The silver and freshwater pearl drop earrings are a gift from Hersey and Sons. They go with so many outfits so I wear them a lot.

The Perfect Pair
What is the perfect eyewear to compliment this ruffled embellished maxi dress? For those that believe understated is overrated, the Ex 30015, from STEPPER’S Exclusive range is the frame to choose. It packs a glamorous party punch.

The Swarovski crystals on the brow sparkle as the wearer moves and the upswept, vintage-inspired style and sweeping sides will flatter all face shapes. It’s made from titanium, so is lightweight, hypoallergenic and infinitely comfortable. And while it errs on the side of flamboyant, it is still undeniably chic.

I have an ongoing paid partnership with STEPPER Eyewear for whom I write a bi-monthly feature for their blog which you can read here.I bought the embellished maxi dress with vouchers that were given to me in return for my time when I was invited to the relaunch of Boundary Mill in Colne.

I love your glasses: I do not wear my glasses often, preferring my contacts but your eyewear makes such a pretty statement! They are very pretty.

Thank you so much. I only need glasses for reading but I have varifocals to save me taking them off and on. I absolutely love eyewear and try to co-ordinate it with my outfits when I can! xxx
Jewellery for your face, beautiful Liz xx
That is such a brilliant description Michelle.I might use that in future if I may (and give all due credit of course!). It’s a fabulous frame isn’t it xxx
I absolutely love the dress, Lizzy (it was clearly meant to be yours), but it’s the glasses that I can’t stop looking at lol! They’re so pretty.
I’m wearing my contact lenses for the first time today (well, the first time after my initial four hour stints, that is). It’s so weird. I keep going to move the glasses from my face only to find they’re not there lol!
Hope you’re having a lovely week!

Hee hee! A lot of contact lens wearers say that. It’s like having phantom glasses on your nose!!! And thank you re the dress. I love it and I thought exactly the same- it was meant to be! xxx
Oh wow I never thought a pair of glasses could outshine a stunning maxi dress, Liz – but I think they very nearly do!! They are absolutely beautiful, so unusual and elegant (I love gold frames). It goes without saying that you look a million dollars in the dress too…!

Thank you Catherine. Aren’t they fabulous?? I absolutely love them. So festive but elegant too xxxx
I can understand why you love that dress so much – it’s gorgeous! And I love the glasses, they’re perfect. I need to get myself an eye test and some new glasses and I think it’s about time I tried that shape. 🙂

Thank you Helen. yes, I absolutely adore the dress and can’t wait to wear it on Christmas Day. I find that the upswept frames are really flattering. I’m always drawn to that shape xxx
