Calpe is located on the Costa Blanca. It’s a small town famous for its food, sandy beaches and Calpe Rock, the Peñón d’Ifach. The rock is listed as one of the seven wonders of Valencia. It’s a designated national park and home to rare examples of plant life and 300 different animal species as well as a nesting site for colonies of seabirds. It adds to the unique beauty of the beaches in the surrounding area. We could see the rock from our hotel which sits on Playa Arenal-Bol, the largest beach in Calpe. It still managed to look beautiful during the torrential storm that hit Calpe on our first day.
Golden Sand And Palm Trees

My ombre bikini is by Rodial Brasil . The white and grey makes a nice change from the bold floral-print bikinis that I usually choose. The top is underwired and moulded, so it fits beautifully. The bikinis are handmade, mostly by women in a village in Tarragona, Catalonia. They create the prints, adapt them to suit all sizes and styles, cut them then put them together. The exceptional quality is evident both inside and out, especially where the cups and straps are sewn together. However Roidal sizes come up slightly small, so I recommend sizing up.
