I already mentioned that I never expected wooden eyewear to be quite so stylish. I imagined unrefined, naive styles that couldn’t possibly be counted as a serious fashion accessory. How wrong I was. The more I see, the more I love the natural beauty and unassuming nature of wood. These green half-wood sunglasses have a slightly retro feel to them. They’re lighthearted and lightweight, and the classic shape is universally-flattering. They are the Clubmaster EZ034 by Fresh For Pandas, a brand whose eyewear has wholly green credentials, regardless of colour.
I associate the colour green with optimism, so what could be better than to put them alongside than a rainbow? This sweater is from last season, but it is cheery and uplifting and the eyewear adds a touch of spring, a nod to the season ahead. And I can think of several other outfits that they’ll complement throughout the rest of the year too.
My green half-wood sunglasses have classic brown lenses. There is the option of green, blue and red lenses too, all of which look stunning.
I have an exclusive Fresh For Pandas discount to share. Enter code LIZZY and get 10% off everything. You might remember that the fabulous round sunglasses I wore in a recent blog post are from there, so do go and take a look. You won’t be disappointed.

Thank you Jodie! Yes, they’re gorgeous aren’t they. And so comfortable too! xxx
Wow! I love those, both the colour and the style. I’m a new convert to green so I may need these! I love how you’re styling them with the stripes too 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
They would look perfect with your green Winser coat Lisa!!! I love that these are green in status as well as colour. This is a fabulous brand xxx
Like you I would never have thought that wooden sunglasses would be stylish but I love these and the colour too xx
I adore them Lizzy. I wonder how clean they keep with makeup though? I’d love to know if they stain over time. I guess that’s why only the top part is wooden rather than the part resting on the face…? I would love to wear wooden glasses – thanks for sharing! xxx Maria
That is such a good point Maria, I do get make-up on some of my eyewear at times, but usually if it’s a little loose and it slips down. The nose pads on this frame means it can be adjusted to fit perfectly so the frame isn’t touching the cheeks for example. They are also very lightweight so don’t slip. I’ve worn these a lot since I got them and I’ve just had a look to see of there is any make-up on at all and there isn’t I’m pleased to say! Have a lovely day and thank you as always for the lovely comments and support xxx
I ADORE the green of the glasses Liz – exactly my favourite mossy green shade! You’re right about them being surprisingly stylish, I wouldn’t have thought wooden glasses would look so good either. Love the rest of this outfit too – the sweater is banging 😀
