You only need to look at my wardrobe, or indeed my Instagram feed to know that I adore florals. I always have. They appeal to my romantic nature and I wear them throughout the year. I don’t often wear pastels though, so this floaty floral jumpsuit is a little bit of a departure. I wore it with my silver espadrilles for a dinner date, but wouldn’t it be lovely to wear to a wedding with strappy sandals? Or to The Races? Or even with a pair of white trainers and a denim jacket for a dressed down look.
Floaty Floral Jumpsuit With A Serape
As we well know, living in the UK means we’re never far from needing an extra layer or two. You might remember my mohair serape from autumn? Well, it proved to be the ideal addition over the weekend, because despite it being hot during the day, it was (STILL) too cool in the evening for bare shoulders. It’s warm and soft and I think it lends itself to weddings, races, proms and picnics alike.
The jumpsuit’s tiered neckline is super pretty and feminine and it flutters when the breeze catches it.
The straps are adjustable too. After seeing my previous post, (which also featured a floral jumpsuit, but a strapless one), a lady asked me what strapless bra I wore. It’s the Wonderbra Ultrabra in nude. It is definitely functional underwear, rather than pretty or sexy lingerie, but it’s excellent. It stays put throughout dancing and jumping and is invisible through clothing. I’ve had mine for at least four years and I hand wash it after every wear and it’s as good as new. I highly recommend it.
Silver Accessories
My silver espadrilles are the Nigella from Lotus. (I mentioned them in my neutral holiday wardrobe post too). I love the diamante. But of course.
And finally, my jewellery. I chose the silver bee to compliment the cool pastel shades, but also because there’s a little bee within the floral print.
And the silver tassel earrings because they match the ring! They were from Next about three years ago.

Love this look and tried this jumpsuit on but the big boobs the fluttery bit didn’t look anywhere as good on me. Love the accessories too.
Oh, thank you so much Sue. Aww, I’m sure you looked lovely xxxx
No, believe me the fluttery bit needed to be longer!! You have made me search for a new strapless bra though, in the hope that technology and new fabrics may do a better job nowadays. Sadly the Wonderbra only goes to a G cup.
Oh sorry Sue. I didn’t look at the size range of the bra. I’m a D cup and it works well. As you say, new fabrics and technology are brilliant. I hope you find one! xxx
Ooh you look totally stunning, love the print of the dress and that blossom xx
Thank you so much Vicki xxx
Wonderful outfit, I love it! I love the delicate print and the romantic tone of the look. I love the design, with the steering wheel and the delicate neckline. The fabric seems very soft. The whole look breathes delicacy.
Oh thank you so much Josep-Maria It is indeed very romantic isn’t it xxx
I think we can safely say that even the pastel florals look beautiful on you Liz! Another very pretty outfit & thanks for the strapless bra recommendation, I struggle with these xx
Thank you Michelle. The bra is brilliant. I can’t recommend it enough! xxxx
