You might have noticed that I have a new look blog! I was ready for a change and January seemed as good a time as any. It’s a lot “cleaner” looking than the previous one and easier to view on a phone. I’m still tweaking it here and there to get it exactly as I want, there are a few glitches here and there, (not least the spelling of Lizzy in the signature- the designer is aware!), but I’m thrilled with it. (It’s the “Crystal” theme from the always brilliant Pipdig).
New Look Blog: New Additions
I’ve added two new items to the menu. The first is a “Get The Look” page. This is simply a page to which I have added a picture of clothing, accessories and products I’ve worn or featured recently. As you know, I wear things over and over, so sometimes, the things I wear are out of stock. This page is a way of seeing at first glance what’s currently available and will save you trawling through the archives if there was anything you spotted and liked a while ago. This is in addition to the product details I include in my style posts.
The second thing I have done is add my jewellery and accessories boutique. It was formerly known as LizzyO and had a standalone website for which I was paying a monthly fee. It also incurred a lot of admin. Consequently, it made sense to move it here, so everything’s under one roof. My roof. (For anyone interested, the software is called WooCommerce; a free plug-in, compatable with WordPress). As I write this, I have just started the process of setting it up. It isn’t going to be up and running for a few days yet. It’s intuitive and easy to use, but very time-consuming, to set up, so please check back mid-week if you are looking to purchase something.
I’ve rationalised the selection Danon Jewellery I offer, because there were so many designs, I could barely see the wood for the trees. I’ve chosen to stock the most popular items and I’ll add to these on a seasonal basis. I personally have a wide range of Danon jewellery of my own, but I don’t own one of every design. If I do have that particular piece, I will try to include links to blog posts in which I have worn it to give an idea of how it looks in situ.
This is a selection in case you’re not familiar with Danon. Danon is an Israeli, artisan brand which uses precious and semi-precious metals and stones.
In due course, I’m going to add a section to the shop so I can “rehome” my pre-loved jewellery, clothing and accessories. Again, this keeps everything uder one roof rather than using Ebay. In common with so many, I feel the need to simplify certain of aspects of my life and work this year and I think this small step will help.
New Look Blog: New Profile Picture
I’ve changed my profile picture across my social media and here on my blog too. As much as I loved the previous one, it was about three years old and my hair was considerably longer than it is now. I chose this photograph because I like the colour of the garage door behind me! More importantly though, I like how genuinely happy I look. I hope those that know me would agree that happy is my default setting and that this one captures the essence of me. (You can see the rest of the bright floral jumpsuit in my recent post about bold colour).
Thank you very much for reading and for your continued support. And please, if there are any particular topics you’d like me to cover, please say in the comments below or email me with suggestions.

Great changes Elizabeth. I especially like your subtitle. Cool wordplay. Love, Lieske
Aw, thank you. Well, I read Catherine’s post (Not Lamb) about media kits and decided that I needed a better subtitle and one which shows a USP. She’s a wise woman that one! xxxx
