I think I like cold, crisp, sunny autumn days more than any other. Although hot, sunny mornings in close proximity to a beach perhaps have the edge. But, nonetheless, I love being out in the fresh air at this time of year. Cosy layers, tights and boots are autumn staples. Combine them with a floral tunic dress for an easy to wear, stylish outfit, perfect for a stroll, a few glasses of wine and a sharing board. Which is exactly what we did over the weekend. Ian and I spent a lovely afternoon together in Skipton on Sunday. I wish I’d have taken some photos at the bar-café we went to because it’s a real gem of a place, and one we visit often. I’ll make sure I do so next time.
Back to the outfit though. You’ll recognise the grey coatigan from a week or so ago when I wore it with jeans and my glittery star trainers. I knew it would be a good purchase!
The floral tunic dress is from Tulchan, and is the same style as the khaki tunic dress I wore back in September. I like the pockets and the easy to wear shape; it simply slips on so is very comfortable.
The snow leopard ankle boots were from Boden a few seasons ago. However, Boden currently has a very nice selection of leopard print boots and shoes, in both tan leopard and in snow leopard all of which are fab. These ones have been so very versatile. I’ve worn them over and over and as I always say, leopard print is a wonderful neutral.
It’s been a while since I wore my Swarovski crystal set bee necklace and ring. I’ve favoured golden tones of late. I’d forgotten how lovely it is and that it feels both substantial and pretty. Along with the silver heart earrings, they’re by by Danon, an Israeli brand that I stock on my accessories website. Do take a look because the jewellery is beautiful.
If you’re not familiar with my boutique, I also sell a range of inexpensive wrap bracelets, pendants, brooches and scarves. I’ve reduced them all for the month pf November to spread my workload ahead of the busy upcoming December. I’m a one-woman band with a packed schedule so I’m hoping the Christmas early birds among you will enjoy browsing. I can’t tell you how much I value your custom and support, so thank you in advance. Thank you too for supporting the brands that support What Lizzy Loves, including Tulchan who gave this floral tunic dress to me.

Hi Lizzy. I love the dress. Like you I am a huge fan of dresses and I wear many of them to school as well. This one would certainly fit in the apt-for-school category, because of its shape and comfort. It looks lovely on you. Love, Lieske
