I love flowers. Whether growing wild, arranged as a carefully chosen bouquet or hanging in my closet, I can’t get enough of them. I wear a lot of floral prints and I embrace the colour so often associated with them. However, for those not quite as anthophillic as I, this linen-mix cut-out embroidered daisy top is a subtle, easy way of incorporating florals into an outfit. It’s perfect for wearing with something simple like skinny jeans or denim shorts but its simplicity enables it to be teamed with a “busier” bottom half, such as a patterned skirt (florals, stripes, checks, gingham), or with (cropped) trousers in any colourway. It is available in indigo blue for those wanting more colour, but I love the softness the white affords.
The three-quarter length sleeves are perfect for spring and early summer but would also work in early autumn too.
The daisy embroidery is beautiful and is on the bottom half of the top as well as on the sleeves. My exquisitely embroidered floral clutch adds colour in soft tones while continuing the embroidered theme.
And both top and bag are complimented beautifully by the stylised daisy embroidery on these denim wrap espadrilles.
I’m wearing:
*White linen embroidered daisy top, £49, Tulchan
*Lavinia embroidered clutch bag, £42, East
* Embroidered wrap espadrilles, £40 Next
Swarovski set silver foxtail bee necklace, £50, Danon at Lizzy O
Swarovski set t-bar bee bracelet, £30 Danon
Skinny jeans, Next, past season

Ah, thank you so much. It's nice to wear more delicate things from time to time, especially in spring xxx
Very lovely!
Thank you so much Nancy xxx
Love this chic simplicity Liz. Those espadrilles are super cute, I'm loving all espadrilles at the moment aren't you? And I recognise that bag from East, spotted it for myself actually 😉
p.s. my only complaint is I now have that daisy song in my head hahahaha

Yes! I love espadrilles. I really want some red ones and also some with pompoms, (something else I'm loving right now!) The East bag is lovely isn't it. So pretty- I love the colours in it. And yes, "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do….!!!" xxxx
Such a beautiful daisy top, Lizzy! And those espadrilles and clutch are STUNNING! You look gorgeous, as usual 🙂
