I have always loved all things Fairisle but unfortunately they don’t always reciprocate because of the wool content in most, which makes me itch. So, I was verrrry excited to see this roll-neck love birds sweater dress which is 100% cotton. It was an impulse buy from Next, (who I have been beyond impressed with this season), because I knew I would wear and wear it and in fact already, I have worn it for two of the last three days. The first time was for watching for watching my son play football on Sunday, followed by an amble around Skipton on what was a very cold, crisp day. I put it with a pair of skinny grey jeans, grey biker boots and a grey bobble hat and it kept me very warm and cosy.
On the second occasion, I wore it as a dress with grey cable tights and flat navy Chelsea boots.
I particularly like the shape and length of the sleeves. They’re long enough to tuck into, or go over gloves, if necessary which really does make a difference when standing on a freezing cold sideline, because it’s incredible just how cold a flash of wrist can get. The pattern negates the need for a bracelet, but I think very little negates the need for a ring so I added my double stars ring. The stars jewellery by Danon continues to be among my favourite and there are matching items available in both silver and gold platings at my online boutique, LizzyO

What a lovely cosy looking dress! I like a long sleeve as I have long arms so often have problems with cold wrists!X
You can't beat a cosy jumper dress for a casual Winter outfit in my opinion. You look adorable in this navy Fairisle one Liz, such a stroke of luck it's not wool! Mx
I adore a jumper dress! I have so many of them. Cozy, smart, you can wear with tights, warm boots, etc. Winter perfection. This one is adorable on you… I can't believe you found one that is not wool! xx
