As part of my role as the Kaleidoscope Blogger Expert, I was invited to preview their Spring Summer 2017 collections last week at The St Martin’s Lane Hotel, London. These events are attended by bloggers, journalists, buyers and editors alike and are always a lovely way to spend a few hours. I liaise closely with the PR team that looks after Kaleidoscope so it was great to catch up with the team in person rather than just via email.
The venue is just a short walk from Covent garden and the room was light and bright with this stunning chandelier.
The collection is set out in different stories, each identifiable as such, but it was clear to see that pieces could be mixed and matched readily.
I particularly liked the denim jumpsuit and being a fan of all things nautical, the striped intarsia anchor sweater caught my eye too.
I thought the footwear was particularly strong and Kirsten Emery, the designer told me she’s been working closely with accessory designers to produce a varied range.
The brocade kimono edge to edge jacket was one of the standout pieces for me. The colours are beautiful. I can see this working as easily with battered boyfriend jeans and sneakers as with a shift dress for a wedding.
Other favourites were this denim jacket.
And this red lace shift dress.
This bikini is such a great shape and can be mixed and matched with the floral pieces along side it. This is definitely on my wishlist for when I return toNerja next summer.
And isn’t this beach bag fab?
Thank you very much to both Kaleidoscope and to PHA Media for inviting me.
Love Liz x

some lovely pieces Liz! I've never looked at Kaleidoscope before, but having just come back from a winter sun break I'm still in the mood for summer clothes! Mel x
