If you follow my blog regularly, you’ll know that my day job is as the copywriter and editor for a local glossy lifestyle magazine. Part of my role involves meeting people about whom (or about who’s business or life), I write, so I dress smarter than I do when working at home, but not how I would when I go out socially. I usually meet clients in their home or at their place of work and I need not be too formal. In the warmer months, I tend wear a dress and actually, during the cooler months I do too, but with tights and a jacket. Once in a while though, I opt for smart jeans, a shirt and jacket.
This shirt is from Tulchan, one of my favourite brands, which happens to be based locally just over the border in my home county of Lancashire. It was the petrol blue floral design that caught my eye as well as the semi-fitted shape which makes it ideal to tuck into skinny jeans as I did, but means it could be worn untucked too. In fact, it would be equally at home with a pencil skirt or with tailored trousers if a more formal look is required. All Tulchan clothing is beautifully made and you may recall me writing about their grey spotted raincoat, their printed leaf top and their striped tops too. I wear each of these pieces regularly and the whole collection mixes and matches so making it easy to buld a wardrobe of hardworking, stylish basics. I have a special discount code for my readers for 10% off which is valid until the end of November and the code is WLL10
I accessorised with some of my favourite pieces by Danon (hand-crafted in Israel) that I stock in my boutique, Lizzy O.
The angel wings drop earrings are so pretty.
And the bee bracelet is still one of my all time favourites.
But it is the star ring that I wear almost every day, either in silver like I’m wearing here or in matt gold.
Tulchan have a wide range of scarves and I love the hydrangea, one of my favourite flowers, in this design.
So head over to Tulchan and take a look and I’d love it too if you’d pop over to my boutique, Lizzy O where I stock a wide range of Danon jewellery as well as my own brand of attainable wrap bracelets and pendants. UK delivery is free and it might just offer some ideas for Christmas shopping!
Love Liz x

Very pretty shirt and the jewellery looks perfect with it.
The print of this shirt is adorable Liz but this is not a look I'm used to seeing on you. I'm totally loving it though especially how you've buttoned the shirt right up, gives it a funky edge. Brilliant! X
