The Perfect Little Blue Dress: Winser London.

I have always loved wearing dresses and they make up a significant proportion of my wardrobe. I have them in every style, colour and print imaginable and I would struggle to choose my favourite. But sometimes, a dress comes along that is absolutely and utterly perfect and the Miracle fitted dress in moonlight by Winser London is one such dress.

The Miracle collection of luxurious styles, (of dresses, skirts, trousers and leggings), is cut from an exclusive Ponte di Roma double jersey fabric, designed to cover and stretch, to curve where you curve.

The clever shaping of the curved seams emphasises and flatters the waistline and the pockets serve as both a feature and a benefit. The moonlight blue is such an exquisite shade and I can’t think of a single skin tone that it won’t flatter.

The pure silk georgette sleeves are long and have a button-cuff. A sheer sleeve adds a lightness as well as a texture.

The notch crew neckline has a hidden button and loop fastening and the back zip is signature covered grosgrain.

The dress needs little in the way of accessories, so I added my multi-coloured glitter clutch. Its simple shape doesn’t detract from the dress, but does add a little sparkle.

And a statement shoe compliments the simple shape perfectly.

I love this dress so much that I have it in a berry colour and I can’t wait to showcase it in a future blog post.

You may remember that along with the rest of The Over 40 Collective, I styled a Winser outfit back in May and on that occasion chose a Chanel-inspired cotton tweed pink jacket and a Broderie Anglaise eyelet blouse. A group of seven women, each with a former or concurrent professional career, we each have a unique and very definite style and our aim was to show just how brilliant a brand Winser is for the over 40 woman who wants to be stylish, chic, sexy yet understated and perhaps most importantly- visible. The fact that every one of us was spoiled for choice shows that Kim Winser has got it absolutely right and we can’t shout about it loud enough.

So here is how the rest of The Over 40 Collective styled their Winser London Autumn Winter outfits.

WOW. I don't blame you for getting this dress in the berry colour too, Liz. It looks phenomenal on you! I have this same dress in the moonlight colour and I love wearing it. It is so elegant, and makes a change in a sea of little black dresses! It is a timeless design; you could have worn it 20 years ago or 10 years from now, and it still looks stylish. Gorgeous! xx
