Last night was the end of season awards ceremony and party at my son Harry’s football club. It was a brilliant evening but it was just the two of us as my daughter Poppy is away this weekend completing her bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and is walking and camping in the Yorkshire Dales. This meant that he had to be my photographer, something which he is happy to do in the privacy of our garden or on the drive but shies away from if there is even the minutest chance that he might be seen in public. However, he did it and did it well and I’m very grateful to him.
My dress was an impulse buy earlier this week. The cute high ruffled neckline and the bright, summery, uplifting print caught my eye, an antidote to the grey skies which have been the mainstay of the last few weeks here.
He is fond of taking photographs on an angle and he was making me laugh while doing so.
The bright pink embellished wrap bracelet is one of the newest additions to my online boutique, Lizzy O. Lightweight and comfortable, the wrap bracelets are good for hot days when “metal” jewellery can seem a little heavy (and can sometimes get very hot too). They catch the light so beautifully and are incredibly sparkly, a feature that’s hard to capture on camera. I’ll be taking a selection on holiday with me to wear both on the beach and in the evenings.
I’d love you to follow me on Instagram, (where you can see my party manicure- a little experiment that I was very pleased. I post sneak peeks and different pictures to those that appear on my blog.
Love Liz x
