If you saw my last blog post, you’ll have seen that this is what I wore for the blogger meet that I attended in London on Monday.
It was a warm day so I wanted a summery outfit but I also wanted something that would be practical for the travelling that the day would entail.
The event was sponsored by Hope, so wore trousers from their summer collection, the cotton stretch ankle grazers in chalk. I have never before owned a pair of white or cream trousers or jeans finding them to be unforgiving both aesthetically and practically, but these are amazing. They are a thick stretch cotton that smooths the silhouette and because they simply pull on, there are no zips, buttons or loops to spoil the smooth appearance. They remained pristine all day and for the seven or more hours I spent in transit on the train, the tube and in cabs. An excellent service that Hope offer is the choice of three inside leg lengths. This is the middle length, because I decided to have mine finish just above the ankle which I find to be a flattering length and excellent for showing off one’s shoes.
Shades of blush and nude are everywhere this season and they’re very easy on they eye. It’s easy to find tonal (or soft metallic) accessories too. I wore this pink pussy bow blouse with dark skinny jeans and navy floral shoes previously and think it would also work tucked in to a full midi skirt. As I’ve said on many occasions, I like my clothes to work hard for me.
Love Liz x

Aaaaaaaaaasolutely stunning, Liz. You totally wowed everyone when you went up to the front at the blogger meet during Nayna's talk – all long legs and blonde hair…!! Those trousers really do sound good, especially since I shy away from white jeans if I've put on a few pounds :/
Have a fabulous weekend my lovely!! =muah=

such a pretty spring outfit! love that blouse on you 🙂
I AM A HUGE FAN OF A PUSSY-BOW BLOUSE. The fact that yours is in blush and you got gorgeous leather accessories to match, makes this ten times better. Plus those white jeans look so fresh with it. You are a vision in Rose Quartz, Lizzy!
A brand-new one is currently live, below. Welcome Over! Thanks.
