Do you ever get a pair of shoes and want to wear them with everything? I’m feeling that way about these colourblock heels. I wore them with a red midi skirt last weekend and then again with skinny jeans and this striped sweatshirt earlier this week for a restaurant review.
I’m a girly girl and favour dresses for special occasions and for eating out, but it was cold and the restaurant in question was actually a village pub so jeans dressed up with heels was the perfect solution.
And that’s the thing about a great pair of heels. Pop them on with either skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans, add a co-ordinating bag and the outfit looks polished, presentable and good to go.
Sweatshirts are a relatively new acquisition to my wardrobe and as a lover of the breton stripe and all of its variants, this one grabbed my attention. I like the fact that it is slightly cropped so can be worn with a skirt and the boxy shape which gives it structure. A smart sweat I suppose. I envisage this one shorts and pumps for a picnic on the beach.
The colourblock t-bar court shoes are made from the softest leather and are as comfortable as they are stylish. They’re quite a generous fitting and if you’re between sizes, I’d suggest sizing downwards. Out of stock in my usual 41 (UK 7), I took a chance on a 40 which resulted in a (rather ecstatic) Cinderella moment. And for those that prefer neutrals, they come in an equally covetable black and nude.
