One of my go-to places for footwear, particularly brogues and boots is Clarks and they are currently in the final few days of the winter sale and there are some excellent reductions.
My lovely man surprised me at Christmas with the Hamble Oak brogues in peach combi, taking my total to three pairs.
I have them in tan leather and burgundy leather (from a few years ago) and I wear them over and over.
The peachy pink ones are divine and I’m so looking forward to wearing them in spring. They’re current season so aren’t in the sale, but two other colourways are reduced by at least a half.

The dark pewter metallic are reduced to half price…

Other shoes that caught my eye include these simple black court shoes

And these animal print block-heeled shoes (this heel shape will continue to be on trend throughout spring and summer so would be a good investment).

I’ve been looking online for some warm, practical waterproof boots for when I watch my son play football. I often wear wellies but find that they’re just not warm enough.
I was quite excited to see these, available in grey and black and significantly reduced. After much debate I ordered the black pair to be delivered into store.

I wish I had opted for the grey which has a duck-egg blue trim because the black ones have a purple trim which, though perfectly obvious now, I hadn’t noticed when placing the order. They ticked the warm, comfortable and practical boxes but the colour combo just wasn’t for me.
I’m undecided whether or not to re-order in the grey.
All was not lost though because when collecting my order, I spotted these casual leather boots (high-tops? trainers?) I couldn’t resist trying them and once they were on, given that it was sleeting outside, I didn’t want to take them off, so cosy were they.
They aren’t suitable for standing on a freezing cold muddy sideline, but they will be perfect worn with jeans for casual days and walks once the weather is drier.

There are boots a plenty in the sale, in all styles and colours but it was these leopard print boots that I could not and did not resist so ordered these into store too.
They are perfect and I plan to wear them tomorrow for my dad’s birthday lunch.
Chinaberry Bay in leopard print have a patent black block heel, are tactile and will work with both dresses and jeans.

I’m hoping the weather will be dry enough tomorrow to take a few outfit photos outdoors so that I can show you what I’ve decided to wear them with.
In the meantime, I’m going to bake the birthday cake and set the table ready for tomorrow.
Have a lovely evening,
Love Liz x
