I wear a lot of dresses and I particularly like ones which are versatile, can be won with a variety of footwear and dressed up or dressed down. I was invited to choose something from Next as part of my prize for being named their blogger of the month for September and I was somewhat spoiled for choice. However, this shift dress with its beautiful autumnal print in muted tones was my ultimate favourite.
I wore it in Lisbon the week before last when the weather was mild and sunny. I opted for nude tights and Mary Janes. It doesn’t crease so was ideal for packing and it stayed looking pristine for a day of sightseeing.
My tights are courtesy of My Stockings and are slightly glossy, which unfortunately, can’t really be discerned from the photographs. I usually opt for a matt finish so this was something a little different. They add a natural looking sheen which I really liked, and the colour, “Summer,” gave my (very fair-skinned) legs a natural looking hint of tan.
