Today has been the fifth consecutive sunny day and I feel full of the joys of spring. My children were in and out all day with friends so it gave me the perfect opportunity to continue the mammoth task that is tidying the garage along with other essential outdoor jobs including cutting the grass. I really do know how to live. I had various errands to run, and Skipton, our little market town, was bustling with tourists. I feel so happy to be alive and bursting with excitement and optimism. I’m adding little touches to our new home all the time and both children today have expressed how happy they are with our location a few minutes’ walk from the centre of town compared with our previous rural home some 12 miles out.
I cannot thank serendipity enough for bringing us here.
Today’s bracelets are from Bella Jane Jewellery. They’re lightweight, stack beautifully and make me think of the beach somehow.
And I wore a new fragrance, Cedrat Eau Fraiche by Roger & Gallet. A blend of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), spice, (basil) and woody notes, (cedar, vetiver, musk, white amber). It’s uplifting and refreshing with a warmth and a roundness that reminds me of mellow afternoons spent in Tuscany many moons ago.
I absolutely love it.
