As days go, yesterday was another lovely one- bright and sunny and as productive as it was enjoyable. The morning was spent washing, ironing, mopping, writing and catching up on admin. After that I met my lovely Polish friend for coffee then went to Sally’s for lunch. We usually see each other very frequently but because of the Easter holidays, it’d been almost three weeks so we had a lot to talk about. I did more work in the afternoon before going out dinner.
I love the shape and style of this lace tunic dress with its nod to the sixties. I opted for flats because we walked to and from the restaurant (Rhubarb at Herriots about which I wrote a food review in February).
My gold bracelet was my 21st birthday gift from my parents. I treasure it as much now as I did when I first received it twenty years ago.
The Mary Janes are from Mulberry at least three years ago. They’re a beautiful shade of steel blue so work well with navy, grey and most other colours actually.
