Another day. Another lunch. This time though, there was an aspect of work involved because it was a review I’m doing for an upcoming issue of Aspire Magazine. I shall post the review along with some photographs here on my blog once the article is published.
As work goes though, it’s hard to beat and it’s a privilege to be afforded such perks. My lunch date today was my gorgeous friend Annemarie and we were hosted by David Roberts, owner of Hetties, here in Skipton.
My top was from Ted Baker several years ago. I was drawn to the quirky print and the pretty pleated collar. There was a whole collection called “Curiousity” with the same print, which along with the pocket watch and rabbit/hare in the design, makes me think reference was drawn from Alice in Wonderland.
It was a gorgeous spring day so my jersey tweed blazer sufficed.
And how beautiful is my brooch? I love dragonflies and this was a gift given to me yesterday. I already treasure it.
And because one can never have too many dragonflies, I wore my leather wrap bracelet.
Despite the height of my boots, they are incredibly comfortable and I always love using my Mulberry bag.
We were made so welcome…
…that it would have been rude not to.
Love Liz x
