I’m not really known for my love of practical clothes, but they do make up a reasonable, if minor proportion of my wardrobe. But for some time, most of winter actually, I’ve been aware of a “wool-less” jumper shaped gap in my wardrobe. (I find wool really itchy and wrote about it last Autumn when it would of course have been a far more sensible time to buy a jumper).
During our wander around town on Saturday (and after I had recovered from getting my passport photo taken) I popped into Fat Face and happened across this jumper- the beautiful mint green stood out among the sea of cream and navy.
It’s cotton, was in the sale and is perfect for this transitional time of year. Warm, but not wintry looking. I’ll wear it a lot and I envisage it with denim shorts on a Devon beach later in the year.
I love this Pandora Pave Feather ring. It was a 40th birthday present from some of my university friends and I treasure it. It has quite a vintage look about it.
My grey leather bracelet is also from Pandora. A more casual way of wearing charms.
And because there have been frequent hail showers over the past three days, I opted for chunky Barbour Chelsea Boots. They’re certainly robust and practical but I think the pale colour (as opposed to navy), lightens the outfit, and maybe, just maybe, makes it look a little more spring like.
Love Liz x
