It was an unexpectedly sunny day today so it seemed a good opportunity to wear this beautiful shirt dress.
It’s the sort of dress that’s very versatile. Demure enough for the office perhaps, yet I can imagine wearing it with wedge sandals and a denim jacket. The fabric is a soft drapey jersey- very fluid, which swishes when sashaying along.
I think there is something of the 1940s about the shape, so I wore it my my rather fabulous orange quilted Mulberry shoes which also, I think, have a nod to that era.
The geometric floral pattern in green and bright blue stands out against the navy background without shouting.
The quirky camera necklace always draws comment and compliments and seems perfect for a blogger!
Despite the height of the heel, my shoes are incredibly comfortable and the quilted leather is very soft and tactile. They’re by Mulberry and have the iconic Postman’s Lock fastening. I appreciate that bright orange shoes might not be to everyone’s taste but I absolutely love them.
