I don’t have many shirts in my wardrobe, because, I suppose, I associate them with work clothes. Something I don’t need, being based at home.
This floral shirt with pussy bow is beautifully feminine, and would be perfect of course with tailored trousers or a pencil skirt for the office, but actually, I think with jeans it’s a versatile, smart casual outfit.
The shirt has a very flattering cut, a bit of stretch and a distinctive neckline.. This shade of teal is one of my favourite hues. To add contrast, I added mustard yellow shoes.
The (very skinny) jeans are high waisted and super stretchy. Thankfully.
It’ll come as no surprise to learn that I have a lot of clothes. But I do try and make them earn their keep by not saving them for best (within reason) and by trying to style them in different ways.
This jacket has definitely earned it’s place in my wardrobe; I wear it several times per week. I like the nod to equestrian styling when worn over the shirt and knee high boots (or tweed Hunters in this case).
Love Liz x

Oh you must wear this more often! It looks amazing. I am always aware that (for me) shirts and blouses are for 'work' or 'for best' and yet that means I never wear what I have.
Those shoes are beyond good
Aw, thank you Fiona. The shirt is a great shape isn't it? And yes, I love the yellow shoes xxx
Those jeans are so flattering! I love the outfit(s); the Yull shoes look great with the shirt. xxx
