Outfit Post: Broderie and Birthday Cake

Yesterday was the younger of my two brother’s birthday, so along with the rest of our family, we celebrated at my home. I did a mediterranean buffet and baked Victoria Sponge.

I love having family and friends round and it seems extra special when it’s during the week.

I wore this new Fat Face dress. I may have mentioned my love of broderie and a scalloped edge. Well this beautiful dress ticks every box and I think I’ll wear it a lot. It’s the sort of dress that looks as good with flip flops as it does with a pair of wedges.

My vertiginous wedges are from Boden several summers ago.

And then the sun went down on a perfect evening spent with perfect people.

Love Liz x
