Yesterday, the sun shone and the whole of Skipton was filled with spectators as the Tour de France came through our little town.
The atmosphere was amazing and I felt incredibly lucky to witness the largest sporting event in the world here on my doorstep.

It’s such a shame that Mark Cavendish crashed just before the finish. His dislocated shoulder means he cannot take part in the rest of the race.

My hubs has been glued to the TV as he comes from the area! Looks fab and some lovely photos too, you where so lucky to see it, and doesn't Yorkshire look great!
