This weekend has been one of celebrating the 50th birthday of Jane, one of my dear friends.
The festivities started last night with a ceilidh at a beautiful village hall high up in the Yorkshire Dales. The food was divine and the band was amazing.
And I just love being flung around the dance floor. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long long time.
I wore my Fever Provence dress (from Aspire Style). I found it to be perfectly swishy. And my Boden yellow sandals permitted hours of comfortable dosy doh-ing.

My parents brought these beautiful sunflowers when they came to babysit last night. I’ve always loved yellow.
The celebrations continued today with afternoon tea at Jane’s home.
Here’s my contribution, lemon daisy cupcakes and Wimbledon cupcakes (strawberries and cream).
My dress is from Joules three or four years ago and the cardigan is a similar age from Boden.
My yellow accessories are all from Boden’s current collection.
