I’ve had a fabulous and much appreciated two day break in London with my children and my parents. The weather was mostly wet and very grey but it didn’t stop us making the most of every minute there.
On our first day, my Dad and my son had a tour of Wembley Stadium. I don’t know which of them was more excited.
My mum and daughter hit Oxford Street for some window shopping.
Our day finished with supper in Planet Hollywood in a very wet Leicester Square.
We went on the Docklands Light Railway to the Emirates Sky Ride (I’d highly recommend this) which took us by cable car over to the O2 Arena where we had lunch. Then we went on a boat to Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark before boating back to the London Eye and the aquarium.
Isn’t our capital city stunning?

The DLR was fab. It's the first time I'd used it! X
Yes, our capital city is wonderful and I never tire of visiting. Even in the rain, the iconic buildings are still stunning. The Shard is so impressive and I can never resist taking photos of this fabulous structure. You certainly had a busy couple of days. Lovely photographs!
