Stars are one of my favourite motifs and the Autumn Winter catwalks were full of clothing adorned with all things celestial from planets to constellations. This longline star motif sweatshirt. is a casual take on this and is from Kaleidoscope as are the the metallic slim fit jeans which are a perfect way of introducing a touch of glimmer to a relaxed outfit. Eye-catching and a little different, they offer versatility and work just as easily in a daytime casual look as they would teamed with a dressy top and heels for cocktails.
It's rare I wear trainers of any guise other than for the gym because I'm simply not cool enough but sometimes, they are right choice for the rest of the outfit. As you know my 15 year-old daughter Poppy takes almost all of my blog photographs and for that I'm incredibly grateful- I couldn't do my blog without her. As well as becoming very proficient, she offers direction, and, as teenagers do, an honest appraisal of whatever I'm wearing, (actually, she doesn't hold back in her opinions about much really, but I digress).
On this occasion, and I'm "lolling" as I write, she said I looked like Kanye West.
I'll leave you to decide for yourselves...
