The Kaleidoscope Animal Print Jacquard Jacket.

I have always loved animal print- in particular leopard print and I use it like I would a neutral, because it goes with almost every colour and style I can think of. I spotted (excuse the rather bad pun), this jacquard jacket at the Kaleidoscope Press Day back in May and even then was mentally styling it several ways for autumn. It's ideal for this time of year when an extra layer is often needed, but when it's still too mild for a heavier coat. The three-quarter length sleeves prevent it from looking too heavy and the lack of buttons or fastenings keep it looking neat and streamlined. Useful square pockets are a practical style detail and add a hint of the 1960s.

I wore mine for lunch with the girls and teamed it with skinny jeans and flat ballerina pumps, (I was walking), which also added to the sixties vibe.

  1. I love leopard print and I love anything reminiscent of the 60s, so I can completely see why you love this jacket. It is beautiful, and you wear it so well! I also love the very sparkly bracelet, but you know that already :-) xx

  3. Lovely jacket, very becoming on you. I do like my leopard pattern myself. I have some kitten heels which need an airing, but am more prone to my leopard trainers now, It goes beautifully with red and with purple.

    1. Ooh, yes, leopard shoes of any description are always a good idea. I have worn leopard and red before and agree with you about it being a very striking combination. I haven't tried it with purple but imagine it would look fabulous- thank you for the idea xxx
