Cobalt Balloon Dress with Pirate Trousers

Hello and happy Sunday. I hope those in the UK are enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend so far. My children are revising for exams that they will take after the half term holiday, so we don't have any great plans, but it's been a very busy time lately and I'm looking forward to a few quiet days catching up and perhaps doing a bit of planting in the garden and maybe even a little reading.

These trousers are called, rather fabulously, pirate trousers. They're ideal for pairing with a tunic dress when it isn't quite warm enough to go bare-legged yet want to feel spring-like. They simply pull on so are very comfortable and would be a good option for travelling in (I've begun the countdown to our summer holiday so am thinking of flight-friendly outfits) and are ideal for any number of days out and occasions from picnics to rockpooling to lunch and shopping.
Both my trousers and tunic dress are by Danish brand Masai. The bubble shape is very flattering and it drapes beautifully. The colour is even more stunning in real life too. You may recall the chevron tunic dress I wore when I went to Tatton Park a few weeks ago. That is also by Masai and all three are from independent boutique, Gemini Woman. All season, Gemini are running a Summer of Style campaign which focuses on feeling and looking great, so do take a look at the website for tips on style, healthy living, mindfulness and more.

Gemini have very kindly offered readers of my blog a 15% discount with the code LIZZY15 until 19th June so it's the perfect time to take a look.
