Hello and happy Sunday. I hope your weekend has been lovely so far. My daughter and I had a great day yesterday with a trip to Ikea and its neighbouring retail parks. I got the usual candles along with some vases along with other decorative items some of which I'll use in the flatlay photography I do for my Lizzy O Jewellery Instagram account as well as for my What Lizzy Loves Instagram photographs. It's an aspect of my work that I absolutely love and could, if time allowed, spend hours "faffing" with flowers on my white table. I really do enjoy presenting things as beautifully as I can.
This morning though, I'll be going to watch my son play football, so it's jeans, a sweatshirt and wellies right now, so this outfit is what I wore on Monday for Easter lunch at an Italian restaurant with my parents and children.
I wore this Great Plains colourblock shift dress last time with opaque tights and high-heeled ankle boots in February when we were celebrating Adam's birthday in Liverpool.
Despite it still feeling very chilly last Monday, I wanted to style the dress for spring so wore it with nude sheer tights and my Mulberry Mary-Janes.
My double star ring is my current favourite and I have it both in the matt gold and in the silver and I really do find it works with every outfit.
I love the soft muted colours in my dress (the Lavender Blush Combo) and it's available in two other colourways. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I love the Apricot Combo too and think the yellow-orange combined with the soft blue is divine.
It's such an easy dress to wear. It hangs beautifully, doesn't crease and barely needs ironing after it's been washed, something which will be music to busy women's ears everywhere I'm sure!
Love Liz x
