Blush Pink and Soft Metallic Accessories

It's almost the weekend and it finally feels like spring is in the air. Earlier this week, I wrote about the spring summer trends for 2016 which included the colour orange and the cold shoulder, both of which I will be dipping a toe into.

But for me, so far this season, it has been all about delicate pinks and soft metallics as my Instagram feed will attest.

All the jewellery in the collage above is from my online boutique Lizzy O

The nude leather (Taylor Shine) Chelsea boots and peach pink brogues in the collage are both from Clarks and from Thursday March 24th-Monday 28th March, there is 20% off full priced adult styles with the code BUNNY.

I am delighted with my nude pink Chelsea boots. They're perfect for transitional dressing and off-duty weekend style, working with both dresses and jeans..

Finally, I would just like to apologise to those that might have received some non-chronological blog posts earlier this week. When categorising them for the new layout, some got moved to the top of the list and were sent out either via Bloglovin or via the email, as though they were new. There were two from last summer of me wearing summer dresses. The weather has been lovely, but certainly not warm enough for bare legs and sandals!
I think all teething problems have now been rectified, so thank you for your patience.

  1. Liz your Lizzy O Instagram feed is soooooo gorgeous, it's been lovely to see it bloom (quite literally)!! I agree with you about those Clarks boots and how versatile they are - in fact all four pairs you've shown I'd happily wear. We're both brogues fans of course so now I'm thinking I "need" some nude coloured ones too... aaaargh more expense, hehe!

Have a wonderful weekend my lovely, much love :)

    1. Thank you so much lovely! Yes, we are both brogues fans and I find them versatile throughout the year and with all types of outfits. The boots are such a gorgeous nude colour and so comfy too! xxx

  2. Liz, I don't know how you do it. I don't like florals as a rule, but you make them so gorgeous. I don't like pink much, but the pieces you choose (and that gorgeous Insta feed) make it seem like the most glamorous colour ever. Now I'm thinking I could really use those shiny brogues... xx

    1. Haha! My mission is to get you into a pink floral dress then in which case. Aw, thank you for the lovely compliment. The shiny brogues look stunning don't they. I have several pairs of Clarks brogues and find them to be well made and comfortable. I'm lacking a pair of metallic ones

  3. This jumper dress is to die for Lizzy! The colour is perfect for transitioning through seasons. I can see you getting many months of fabulous outfits from it! ;-)

    1. Thank you Michelle. Yes, it's a fab dress. Have you checked out the Monks on Vacation website? The link is in the post featuring maxi sweat dress. It's full of really well-made off-duty clothing. This dress is the perfect weekend dress. And most accommodating of large meals!! xxx

  4. I love my heels, but I can't walk far in them. So it's great to see a blog featuring really stylish flats. And I adore the way you've styled your boots - not something I would have thought of, but it really works!
    Michelle xx

    1. Thank you very much Michelle. I love heels, I really do. but day to day when on the run, I almost always wear boots or brogues xxx

  5. You carry these boots off so well Liz because of your lovely long legs. The pink feels just right for Spring, you've inspired me to move on from camel and grey, must do some shopping. x

    1. Thank you Nikki. The pink is such a soft shade and is almost a neutral. It'd work beautifully with your navy and camel for transitioning! xxx

I love receiving your comments. Thank you for taking the time, Liz xxx
