Beauty: Arbonne Skincare's Five Step Programme.

I'm always keen to try new skincare ranges so when offered the opportunity to sample RE9, Arbonne's anti-ageing skincare line, I was both interested and keen.
The skincare range is developed by using organic botanical products known for their specific anti-ageing properties.
The formulations are free from talc, trans fats, mineral oil, parabens and other "nasties" and are vegetarian and vegan friendly with no animal testing.

The RE9 range is formulated for its anti-ageing properties and is a five step programme.

Step 1: Smoothing Facial Cleanser
This is applied to damp skin twice daily and rinsed with warm water. My skin felt very comfortable without any of the dryness sometimes associated with wash-off cleansers.

Step 2: Regenerating Toner
PH balanced and full of anti-oxidants, this is a refreshing second step.

Step 3: Intesive Renewal Serum
The ingredients are chosen for their collagen supporting properties. I found it absorbed into my skin very easily which I liked. I have tried serums previously that felt too strong for my skin. This one didn't and it didn't feel sticky or excessively oily either.

Step 4: Corrective Eye Creme
To help diminish the look of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. This did feel slightly sticky upon application but sunk in quickly with no discernible residue.

Step 5: Restorative Day Creme SPF20 or Extra Moisture Restorative Day Creme SPF20 or Night Repair Creme.
Both day creams are thicker and felt richer than my usual daily moisturiser but again seemed to melt into the skin and had an almost matt finish meaning I could apply foundation immediately. I particuarly like the fact that both contain SPF20.
The Night Repair Creme is, as one would expect, the richest of the three moisturusers and contains a blend of botanicals and collagen supporting ingredients.
The first four steps don't have a significant scent or fragrance but all three of the Step 5 moisturisers have a very delicate orange-y scent which is lovely.

Each sample was 3ml and lasted between two days (the toner) and five (the serum and eye creams), showing that a little goes a long way.

It would have been unrealistic to have seen any significant changes in the appearance of my skin texture or tone within such a short time, but I can say for sure that it felt softer to the touch.
Every product was nice to use and it's reassuring to know that the ingredients are all organic and natural.

It's a yes from me...!

  1. I've been using Arbonne products for about 5 months now and absolutely love them. I started off with the FC5 range for sensitive skin but have moved onto RE9 now. The Corrective Eye Creme is just fantastic. It's not the cheapest of ranges but it's incredibly high quality. I would highly recommend it.

I love receiving your comments. Thank you for taking the time, Liz xxx
