Beauty: The Best Handcream I've Ever Used

I'm a little bit lazy when it comes to hand and nail care and really don't take care of them as much as I should, although I always put hand cream on before bed. I find a lot of hand creams leave a greasy residue so tend to avoid them during the day.

So when I was offered the opportunity to try two from Roger & Gallet, each with the promise of  "a non-sticky texture that immediately merges with the skin" I was interested to see if that was indeed the case.

The pink tube is Fleur-de-Figuier. It offers 24 hour hydration and has a mattifying effect when applied to the skin. It's enriched with indulgent ingredients including fig extract, shea butter and aloe vera and is ideal for normal to very dry skin.
The scent is lovely, quite fruity. This feels very rich but not heavy or greasy in any way and was velvety smooth in texture.

The red tube is Bienfaits. Enriched with shea butter, aloe vera, vegetable glycerin and apricot kernel oil, this hand cream promises to nourish, tone and protect the hands. It also contains extracts of red fruits blackcurrant, pomegranate, cranberry, blueberry and cherry.
This smells absolutely divine. Quite musky with a hint of citrus and is my favourite out of the two fragrances. This is such a gorgeous product and one I now can't imagine not using.

Both creams live up to expectation. They are non-greasy and do indeed merge into the skin, so much so that I use them during the day too.

I received them almost four months ago and have used them at least twice daily. First the Fleur-de-Figeur and after it ran out, the Bienfait.
The tubes are 50ml and a little goes a long way and the tube didn't squash as it emptied. In fact on the photo, the pink tube is completely empty.

Trying them for this length of time has enabled me to see a visible difference in the texture of my skin. It appears a little smoother and feels more supple. I've been doing a lot of gardening and DIY of late and my nails have survived remarkably well.

I highly recommend these Roger & Gallet hand creams and I think £6 for a 50ml tube which lasts 2-3 months makes these an affordable luxury.

And speaking of nails, isn't it nice when the smoothie matches the nail polish?
